Consultation on the Guidelines for Cervical Screening 2016
The guidelines are intended to provide high-level clinical guidance for those involved in caring for women along the cervical screening pathway. Detailed information about providing cervical screening services, including targets and performance indicators, is included in the NCSP National Policy and Quality Standards (NPQS), which are being reviewed separately.
Public consultation on the updated draft Clinical Guidelines for Cervical Screening in New Zealand
In September 2016, the NCSP held a public consultation process inviting submission and feedback on the updated Guidelines. Submissions on the Guidelines closed on Friday, 28 October 2016.
A total of 33 submissions were received. Responses came from a variety of sources including clinicians, health and non-governmental organisations, and from members of the public.
