A recent news article on Stuff.co.nz is helping to raise awareness of the temporary pausing of our national cancer screening programmes, with a particular focus on bowel screening.

The article highlights the steps being taken to prioritise and roll out the programme changes, so that we can keep participants safe and informed during this unprecedented time.

It also provides a useful reminder to people with concerns about bowel, breast or cervical symptoms that they should talk with their GP now about their concerns, and not wait until screening starts up again.
