New immunisation videos for Year 7 and 8 students

The Immunisation for older children page also has useful information about age 11 and 12 immunisations, how school-based immunisation works (and where) as well as other immunisations older children might need.
The Ministry has made the videos available to public health nurses to download, and has produced a very limited DVD run specifically for them to use in schools without USB or internet access.
The videos showcase the new-look consent forms for Year 7 and 8 immunisations, which are being used for the first time this year. The immunisation team has also produced newsletter inserts for schools to use to inform parents about immunisations happening at their school.
The immunisation team would like to thank everyone who has been involved in the production of the videos, including the team at Waitemata District Health Board who appear in the video, and everyone who has provided feedback during its production.
