NCSP Register changes reflect updated colposcopy standards
The NCSP Register Central Team has completed the project that implemented changes to the Register, which will allow collection of approximately 25 new Colposcopy Standards data items.
Steady progress continues to be made on the E-Colposcopy Project which will allow sending of the new data electronically. Testing between the NCSP Register and Gynae Plus has taken place over the last month and is now complete. The next stage is testing with a pilot within a district health board environment.
The updated Colposcopy Standards 2013 contain information, guidance, policies and standards for health professionals providing a colposcopy service, and replace the 2008 version. The Standards can be downloaded here.
