Accurate nuchal translucency (NT) and crown rump length (CRL) ultrasound measurements are essential for high quality risk results for women who choose to participate in antenatal screening for Down syndrome and other conditions.

To support best practice, the NSU are providing information to radiology practices, radiologists and NT practitioners on the quality of NT and CRL measurements.

For guidelines, video on NT and CRL measurements, and more, visit our Working together on quality improvements for NT and CRL measurements page.
