BreastScreen Aotearoa Programme Monitoring Reports

Programme monitoring is used by the National Screening Unit to assess how the BreastScreen Aotearoa programme is meeting its performance indicators and targets.

University of Otago is contracted to provide reports for the BreastScreen Aotearoa programme, including highlighting outcomes for Māori and Pacific women. The monitoring reports enable the National Screening Unit to assess if key performance indicators are being met and to ensure continuous quality improvement in all components of the screening pathway. The key performance indicators ensure that the programme is maximising the benefits and minimising the harms of breast screening.
