Laboratories

All cytology results are now being sent via HL7 messaging electronically to the NCSP Register along with most of the histology.

Access to Online Screening Histories

Laboratories can access screening histories online. Existing digital security certificates remain valid.
Those laboratories not already accessing the register online are strongly encouraged to do so. Resources for online data services can be accessed from the following links:

User Access Form


For those wishing to access screening histories via a web page, this option is available in the new register. In addition to acquiring access to the Health Network and a digital certificate, a completed User Access Form is required (see link above). Training on the web user interface is available for those organisations that have Health Network access, a valid digital security certificate and can open the register logon screen from a web browser. please call 0800 50 60 50) to arrange training.
