The detrimental effects a lack of Vitamin D can have on maintaining good health will be the topic of a keynote address in an upcoming Celebrating Women, Celebrating Life health expo.
The expo, to be held in Auckland on 17 October, is being organised by WONS – the Auckland-based women’s wellness group. It will also address a variety of other women’s health topics including osteoporosis, menopause, bladder control, breast health and the new cervical cancer vaccine.
WONS CEO, Ruth Davy, says the day brings together leading health professionals and health organisations from throughout the Auckland region who will be discussing various aspects of women’s health.
“We are delighted to present this health expo with its holistic approach to women’s wellness – which is of course the driving factor behind our organisation,” she said.
The Women’s Health Expo is to be held on 17 October 2009 at Hopetoun Alpha, 19 Beresford Square, Auckland between 10 am and 3 pm at a cost of $120.
