Procedures and practices

The AIDS Epidemiology Group (AEG) was originally contracted by the NSU to provide monitoring and evaluation of some aspects of the Antenatal HIV Screening Programme.

During that time the AEG prepared a Monitoring and Evaluation Plan which was first published on our website in March 2006.

Programme monitoring and evaluation is now managed collaboratively by the NSU Quality and Antenatal and Newborn teams although AEG continue to provide national HIV data and manage current research which supports this process.
