NCSP Register Laboratory Result Processing

Smear test results will continue to be accepted by the NCSP in the existing flat file formats until 1 July 2009.

The current processing sites for smear test results are as follows:

Access to Online Screening Histories

Laboratories that currently access screening histories online can continue to do so. Please note that existing digital security certificates remain valid. However, the URL for accessing screening histories has changed. Instructions were mailed to all cytology laboratories on Wednesday, 27 August 2008.  Please phone 0800 50 60 50 for further technical assistance.

User Access Form


For those wishing to access screening histories via a web page, this option is available in the new register. In addition to acquiring access to the Health Network and a digital certificate, a completed User Access Form is required (see link above). Training on the web user interface is now available for those organisations that have Health Network access, a valid digital security certificate and can open the register logon screen from a web browser. please call 0800 50 60 50) to arrange training.
