Monitoring reports

Monitoring and evaluation of this programme is managed collaboratively by the Antenatal and Newborn screening team and the Quality and Equity Team within the NSU.

Information is collected by the DHBs and transferred securely to the Ministry of Health where it is processed, has ethinicity and domicile data fields added, then is de-identified prior to going to the NSU to be used for the preparation of monitoring reports.

The AIDS Epidemiology Group is contracted by the NSU to carry out ethically approved research regarding the impact of reactive and positive results on women and their health care providers.
